Known for its wide-open fairways and forgiving layout, Bryden Canyon is ideal for beginners, though it offers enough challenges for seasoned players. Several holes provide elevated tee boxes, giving golfers sweeping views of the valley.

RED WOLF GOLF CLUB (Clarkston, WA)

Just across the Snake River in Clarkston, Washington, Red Wolf Golf Club (formerly Clarkston Golf & Country Club) offers a private course with a public feel. This 18-hole, par-72 course is beautifully landscaped with well-manicured greens and tree-lined fairways.

The fairways are narrow, making accuracy key on several holes. Red Wolf features natural water hazards and strategically placed bunkers, providing a mix of beauty and challenge. The 9th hole, with its island green, is a favorite among members and guests alike.

QUAIL RIDGE GOLF COURSE (Clarkston, ID)

 

Quail Ridge Golf Course is another gem in Clarkston, known for its welcoming atmosphere and stunning location atop the bluffs overlooking the Snake River. This 18-hole public course provides a more laid-back experience but doesn’t lack in challenge or scenic beauty.

 

The course features rolling hills, strategically placed bunkers, and scenic views that make each round enjoyable. Golfers of all skill levels can appreciate the challenge of Quail Ridge’s undulating greens and narrow fairways, particularly on the back nine, where the views and the game get even more interesting.

 

With a driving range, putting green, and a clubhouse offering food and drinks, Quail Ridge is a great place for golfers to enjoy a day out on the links.
